Ganesha says the Sagittarius sign is represented by a centaur named Chiron holding a bow and arrow. It is also sometimes called the archer sign. Sagittarians thrive on challenges of all types, whether physical or cerebral, and invest their unlimited and contagious energy into cognitive or physical activities. The double nature of the Archer, which symbolises the sign represents the centaur Chiron, a half-man half-horse god who was famed for wisdom and bravery. Like their zodiac symbol, Sagittarius natives have dynamic natures and are clearly related to the dual nature of the Archer. Sagittarians are typically outspokenly optimistic extroverts who elicit respect and affection from everyone they come into contact with.
